Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag was one of the finest explosive batsman India had ever produced. While he is known for his smart sense of humour, Sehwag often set Twitter on fire with his quirky tweets and witty comments on players.
There are times when Sehwag too was trolled by social media users for his insensible comments. This time too Sehwag was at the receiving end when he was shocked to see New Zealand skipper Ross Taylor replying to his tweet in Hindi. It all started when Virender Sehwag tried to poke fun at Taylor’s name and its phonetic appearance. Taylor in Urdu means Darji. Sehwag tweeted: “Well played @RossLTaylor Darji ji. Great effort after handling the pressure of Diwali orders .#indvsnz.”
Shockingly, pat comes the reply from Taylor in Hindi saying “@virendersehwag bhai agli Baar Apna order time pe Bhej dena so Mai Apko agli Diwali ke pehle deliver kardunga… happy Diwali.”
Then Sehwag replied saying “Hahaha Masterji , is saal waali patloon hi ek bilaang choti karke dena next diwali pe. Ross the Boss, most sporting :).” And Taylor asked Sehwag: “Has your Darji not done a good job this Diwali ?”.
Then Sehwag replied saying “No one can match up to your high standards of stitching Darji ji , whether it is a pant or a partnership @RossLTaylor”. ”Both of them continued to spar words humorously as Taylor went on to share a picture on Instagram, sitting at a tailor store in Rajkot. He shared this picture saying @virendersehwag #Rajkot mein match k baad, #darji (Tailor) Ki dukaan band. Agli silai #Trivandrum mein hogi… Zaroor Aana. #India #IndvNZ.
As Sehwag finds his competitor on Twitter, the social media went into a tizzy with netizens commenting and passing trolls on Sehwag. At the same time Ross Taylor received praise for his Hindi langauge skills and for his stern reply to Sehwag’s tweets.
